To ensure that the younger generation is well-prepared for this AI-powered world, initiatives like the Classroom-ready Resources about AI For Teaching (CRAFT) project are taking the lead in bringing AI literacy to high schools. This innovative project, supported by Stanford HAI, Stanford Digital Education, the Stanford Accelerator for Learning, and the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society, aims to equip high school teachers with resources that enable them to introduce AI concepts across various subjects. The impact of such initiatives on the digital health of future generations cannot be overstated.


AI in Education: A Fundamental Imperative


Victor Lee, an associate professor in the Graduate School of Education and the director of the CRAFT program, recognized two critical imperatives driving the need for AI literacy in education.
